GLOBE NEWSWIRE announced the closure of the first edition of Jupiter Festival Miami, the first Global Festival focused on Media, Entertainment and Sports, held on October 9, 2026. Three and a half days packed with key content, business deals and plenty of cultural manifestations were attended by over 2,300 participants made up of content creators and industry executives from Media and Advertising. Sponsors and guests have already pledged to come back next year in Miami Beach.
All of the sessions explored one core question: Where is Content Headed? The approach explored in the programming sought to determine who are the content makers and owners. And, more importantly, who will capture the audience and related value? The session combined veteran leaders and newer voices, in addition to brands, creators, platforms and rights holders.
Evan Shapiro, Founder and CEO of ESHAP, said the debut Festival surpassed expectations in every respect. He called the content outstanding and the production first class. Sponsors at the highest level, namely Transmit, BBC Studios and YouTube, brought a sense of urgency that inaugural events rarely generate. He also observed that attendees traveled in from all over the world.
Rone George, founder and CEO of Musclebeat Publishing Group, said Jupiter Festival went well beyond what he and his team had anticipated. He found the caliber of the executives, creators and brands in attendance striking. Rone stated that conversations quickly became business opportunities, and Musclebeat will come back in 2027 with a considerably bigger partnership and a higher profile at the festival.
Ernesto Pagano, Managing Director and Senior Partner, and Global Sector Leader for Media, Entertainment and Sports at Boston Consulting Group added, “Leaders in media, entertainment and sports have much to gain from each other and the unique setting of Jupiter offers an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, build relationships and create impact.
Jae Goodman, founder and CEO of Superconnector Studios, said the collective bond of the speakers was of a kind seldom seen at industry events and added that Jupiter provided a very unique platform for speakers to collaborate and advance related industries. He said Jupiter was the best first year festival he has attended.
