The British Broadcasting Corporation—your tax-funded cousin across the pond—finally ate crow this weekend as Director-General Tim Davie and News CEO Deborah Turness tendered their resignations after a leaked memo exposed their 2024 Panorama hit piece, Trump: A Second Chance? as a blatant splice job. The “documentary” stitched together two chunks of President Trump’s January 6, 2021, Ellipse speech—separated by nearly an hour—to fake a direct link between his “fight like hell” line and the Capitol march. Classic fake news, London edition. The smoking gun? A scorching internal memo from ex-BBC standards guru Michael Prescott, published by The Telegraph on Monday morning, called the edit a “basic error” and accused management of dragging its feet on bias complaints. Prescott had already bailed in June; his parting shot lit the fuse. The Meltdown Timeline  Nov 4: UK Parliament’s Culture Committee demands answers from BBC Chair Samir Shah.

Nov 10: Trump dunks on Truth Social: “They doctored my PERFECT speech to rig the 2024 election!”

Red Meat for the Right

UK Tories, Lib Dems, and Reform UK all piled on—Kemi Badenoch wants a “top-to-bottom” purge, Nigel Farage calls for “wholesale change.” Even the White House branded the BBC “100% fake news.” Meanwhile, Davie’s farewell spin—“gold standard journalism”—landed like a lead balloon.

Why It Matters in Miami

This story coincides with the coverage in the UK that surviving WWII veterans are disgusted by the current state of affairs in Great Britain.  They are quoted as saying that their sacrifices and those of their fallen comrades were not worth it, given where the country has gone and what it has become.  The BBC has been a globalist gem, mining and fabricating stories that align with their “editorial” point of view for many years now.  It would be a great victory for populism, nationalism, truth, and Christianity for the BBC to be shuttered.

Your BBC license fee isn’t on the hook, but the playbook is: globalist media slicing soundbites to kneecap MAGA. Same trick CNN tried in 2016, just with posh accents and public money. The resignations prove one thing—when you get caught red-handed rigging the narrative, even the Queen’s broadcaster can’t dodge the axe. The BBC’s now scrambling for interim leadership and a credibility transplant. Stay tuned: the Royal Charter review looms in 2027, and the Brits just might defund the whole circus. Pass the popcorn—this one’s got legs.
