You know things have gone crazy when someone or a group are making bomb threats to a zoo, but here we are.
In March, WPLG TV news (Miami - Ft. Lauderdale) reported bomb threats not just closing Zoo Miami affecting one day, not two, not three, but FOUR straight days.
It's unclear where on the zoo site the threats were targeting. Was it the gorilla area, the elephants, or where? And why? Was it an unhinged ex-employee, a romance-gone-wrong, a zoo animal rights activist, who knows.
This isn't the first time either that Zoo Miami, the gorillas, the elephants, the flamingos and more faced bomb threats. It also happened last December.
