Rockstar Games has joined forces with the Wynwood Walls Museum in Miami on a multi-year partnership that gives locals free entry until 2028, according to Complex. The museum offers current murals and sculptures from a range of artists, a chance to spray-paint for yourself, and the opportunity to see artists working in residence. The timing lines up with the release of Grand Theft Auto VI.

The multi-year partnership was announced and went into effect on October 13, 2026, for the multi-year deal between Wynwood Walls and Rockstar Games as reported by The Miami Guide. All Miami-Dade County residents with a valid photo ID with a Miami-Dade address are able to receive free admission to the museum through 2028.

To mark the start of the partnership between Wynwood Walls and Rockstar Games, 10 new murals were revealed on the Wynwood Walls campus, among them Tristan Eaton's newest work. The remaining nine murals, which show original in-game art that Rockstar Games commissioned for the eagerly awaited title, can be viewed through January 1, 2027. Complex reports that DENIAL, FAILE, Gons and Audet, and Lady AIKO are among the exhibition's artists, and their work also appears in GTA VI gameplay. Shoppers can now buy the "Art of Vice City" merchandise collection online as well.

As reported by The Miami Guide, Tristan Eaton's mural sits on the Wynwood Walls campus, while the other nine artists' pieces are displayed along the streets of the Wynwood neighborhood. The artwork also appears inside Grand Theft Auto VI, and 1XRUN has curated some of the street artists and tattoo artists involved. On the game's map, the link between the two shows up in the street-art district of Stockyard (Vice City), which stands in for Wynwood.

The Miami Heat are partnering with Rockstar Games as well. The Heat will take on the Milwaukee Bucks on November 18th as the fictional Vice City team and will wear a special uniform that will never be worn again by the team. Rockstar is teaming up with the Heat for a number of crossover events and the two are releasing a new clothing collection that will be available at Heat retail stores as well as online at MiamiHeatStore.com. More clothing will be released in the coming weeks.

The Miami Guide put together a map of the Rockstar partnership and reported that the November 18th game at the Kaseya Center will be titled "A Night in Vice City," with special game elements, programming and live features. The Night in Vice City arena will include a unique basketball court, special jerseys and more. Court Culture, the Heat's clothing line, has a Vice City collection that can be bought now in Heat retail shops and at MiamiHeatStore.com. Signs on the Kaseya Center rooftop outside already say "Welcome to Vice City."

The press presentation also laid out how in-game places match up with their real-life Miami counterparts. Within the game, Stockyard is Wynwood, Little Cuba is Little Havana, Vice City Port is PortMiami, and the Leonida Keys, home to the Seven Mile Bridge, are the Florida Keys. The trailer also showed in-game versions of the Kaseya Center, called the "Sahara Arena" and home to the Vice City Narcos rather than the real-life Miami Heat, as well as a dance scene between characters Jason and Lucia at a club called Nine1Nine, reminiscent of South Beach nightclub E11EVEN.

South Beach also seemed to get a lot of detail in the Rockstar Games trailer for GTA VI, the Miami Guide reported. A condo tower at 1500 Ocean Drive was included, as well as the Hilton Bentley Hotel and the Hilton McAlpin Ocean Plaza. Two hotels were re-christened in the trailer by Rockstar Games apparently in order to avoid trademark infringement. The Hotel Breakwater became the Hotel Boardwalk, and the Hotel Victor became the Hotel Dixon. The Clevelander Hotel became the Ocean View Hotel. In the downtown area of the game, the area will revolve around the Ten Museum Park and the Grayson Hotel, which in the game will be referred to as Downtown Vice City.

Miami has long-suffered from a lack of opposing opinions to the corporate media narrative. That changes today with the launch of The Miami Independent. We aim to create Miami and Florida's premier investigative newspaper and will bring truth no matter where it lands.
