A Candidate Debate Organized by Grassroots for Grassroots on July 25th, 2026
Ellenton, Florida – The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF/FLGOP) recently held their Sunshine State Showdown in Sunrise, Florida recently with certain GOP-approved candidates. Unfortunately, they excluded a number of grassroots-supported candidates. CDM and The Miami Independent heard from a number of Republican Patriots who are not very happy about that.
Many grassroots groups reached out asking us to sponsor a debate where ALL Republican candidates for Governor and US Senate could be heard by the grassroots. We thought that was a great idea!
CDM and The Miami Independent are proud to be sponsoring a debate on Saturday, July 25th with all eleven gubernatorial candidates, all four US Senatorial candidates, and all three US House District 16 candidates. District 16 was included since the venue will be held in their backyard. To date, all candidates have been invited, many have confirmed and new confirmations are coming in daily.
This will be a lively debate moderated by Trevor Loudon, world-renowned author and speaker known for his writings on communism, socialism and U.S. politics.

We need legislation to reign in the county probate courts that are out of control and have for many years been operating several venues of human trafficking. One is the targeting of well-to-do elderly, placing them under involuntary guardianship, and then, instead of protecting them from exploitation and abuse, the courts, attorneys, and professional guardians exploit and abuse them.
All three senate candidates seem very great. I hope all three will prevail in finding a place to help make America great again. My favorite is Chris Gleason.

After Pinellas County went from punch cards to a computer screen, the screens malfunctioned when I went to vote; the poll worker just presumed I was an idiot, but when she came to look, she saw I was right and did something like a reset; but did that work? It happened to someone else I know. About AI, we recently got a toll bill for a truck; the license was of our Civic. It took two calls to get the AI error resolved.
Pinellas County Florida government, including the probate court programs for guardianship, are a mess. It increases the cost for everyone, but helps attorneys and others get more profit. The county, so far, will do nothing fix the glitches.
I wish we could have a guardian attorney as passionate and as capable as Rachel Rodriguez.
Jim Holcomb seems like a nice person, but he doesn't know about the history of the US. When we were home schooling three Messianic Jewish homeschool moms introduced us to David Barton of WALLBUILDERS. He spoke in our county several times over the years. Eric Metaxas recently published REVOLUTION that would also fill in the blanks our university professors have created in their history books.
Our governments - city, county, state, federal - need some employees, but they have way too many employees. Self government is non-existent.

Those calling for repentance and return to faith are so right! Yes: DCF is so corrupt; HSLDA looks out for home schoolers, but other families are traumatized based upon "hot tips". It is a sort of human trafficking. One family we know had their children taken decades ago; the father said the "foster father" trafficked one of his very young daughters; he said as a resutl he is a very bitter woman today. This all needs investigated. DUE PROCESS is circumvented by the reprobate courts.
