In a letter dated December 31, 1787, Thomas Jefferson wrote "The people---are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty". Jefferson's sentiments most certainly apply today.

This article discusses two very important liberty-related issues: 1) the recent unanimous decision of elected commissioners in Collier County, Florida, to stand against forthcoming draconian international health regulations promulgated by the World Health Organization (WHO); and 2) the tremendous loss of freedom that will be experienced by American citizens and American physicians and medical treatments, including hospital treatment protocols, due to the imposition of WHO health regulations.

Many Americans understand that the WHO is heavily influenced by the Chinese Communist Party, an enemy of America and a global threat to human freedom. Thus, health regulations promulgated by the WHO will undoubtedly be deeply tainted by communist ideology and deception. Further, the forthcoming WHO regulations undoubtedly are another tool/weapon designed to control people's healthcare thereby controlling their behavior in furtherance of the ultimate goal of establishing a one-world government, i. e., the "Great Reset".

In standing up for freedom, the Collier County commissioners unanimously approved the issuance of a resolution and county ordinance containing a citizen's Health Freedom Bill of Rights for the purpose of protecting the health, safety, and welfare of Collier County citizens. These actions and documents were accomplished pursuant to rights guaranteed to we, the people per the Ninth and Tenth Amendments of the United States Constitution.

According to Scott Kiley of the Collier County Freedom Alliance and COVID Tyranny Task Force, each of the above actions was taken in response to the likely adoption by the Biden administration of WHO health regulations. In fact, Section Ten of the county ordinance states that “Unless compelled by Federal or State law, Collier County does not recognize any authority by the World Health Organization or any other international body to impose any health mandates or directives within Collier County." It is unknown if there will be federal or state laws compelling American citizens to abide by WHO regulations.

During May 2023, the Biden administration is expected to become a signatory to an international agreement (called a treaty by some) that some believe will have legal authority to impose WHO health regulations on the American people. Using the actions and documents of the Collier County commissioners as a model, many additional county (and state governments) need to use their constitutional 9th and 10th Amendment rights and "police powers" to protect the health, safety, and welfare of their citizens. In doing so, they will add strong support and justification for a possible future injunction or other legal action taken against the imposition of the foreign WHO health regulations on American citizens and American medical practitioners.

A few of the more disturbing aspects of the WHO agreement and forthcoming health regulations are as follows:

1) The agreement and regulations will give the WHO unprecedented power not only over a public health risk but also over all risks with a potential to impact public health. This includes anything that can be a potential risk to public health such as abortion, climate change, or another pandemic such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

2) The agreement changes the status of the WHO from an advisory agency to a governing body via a legally binding agreement of 194 countries with the authority to detect, assess, report, and respond to public health events.

3) Medical care will be allotted on the basis of diversity and equity. The WHO will pursue global unity in its efforts to achieve a fairer, more equitable world.

4) Religious beliefs can be a basis for medical discrimination or preference for treatments.

5) Medical supply chains will be controlled by a WHO global government, i. e., the "Great Reset".

6) The WHO will have global authority to require medical examinations, proof of prophylaxis, and proof of vaccine, and to implement contact tracing, quarantine, and treatment.

The importance of the Collier County resolution, ordinance, and citizen's Health Freedom Bill of Rights cannot be overemphasized. The documents are examples of actions taken by patriotic Americans in defense of their constitutional 9th and 10th Amendment rights to have their health, safety, and welfare protected by their elected government officials. Thus, it is very important to have such documents generated throughout America to protect the American people.

It is truly time to follow the lead of the Collier County commissioners. County and state elected officials need to take a firm stance against the imposition of the draconian WHO health regulations on their citizens. We, the people need to firmly stand against medical tyranny and adamantly stand up for our constitutional freedoms and liberty!
