Why not use our constitution correctly? It has done us well for 236 years.
The RINO-dominated legislature of Florida has proposed that there be no scholarships or grants given to students who support Hamas, and that those in existence be taken away As righteous as this may sound, this is NOT what we do in America, where we allow free speech for all. As much as I would love to go after those who hate our nation, this is NOT the way we can do it. We are restrained and directed by the body of Constitutional law that we so vocally defend.
As could be expected, every left-wing news site has come out against this proposed bill, facetiously defending the free speech which they want taken away from us. Reuters, USAToday, CNN, Politico, the Tallahassee Democrat, et. al., are railing against the Florida legislature. Already, the Marxist ACLU has filed suit. Yadada, yadada.
It is understandable that citizens do NOT necessarily want their tax money to go to one side or another of undeclared foreign conflicts, or to groups that threaten violence against America. I get that, but read on.
Perhaps, citizens should work with legislators to craft laws that allow scholarship awards and financial aid to be given only to American citizens. Forget Obama’s DACAs and Dreamers. Neither program, in their active form, was actually approved by our US Congress. Obama usurped his presidential authority with Executive Orders to create the programs. Why this new suggested law now?
I think this new legislative proposal is about who supports the DeSantis’s government, and represents a large voting block. Bluntly stated, DeSantis and Tallahassee have prioritized all things pro-Israel, to keep their donor base happy.
If not this, then, why would Tallahassee need to promote this now? In the past two years, Florida has passed effective laws against crimes in this regard. In 2021, Florida passed a tough law against protesting. DeSantis wanted tougher laws to prevent the kind of “mostly peaceful protests” that were destroying cities after the death of George Floyd - and good for him.
Tallahassee followed that law up with FLHB269, effective 5/1/23, which spoke against, among other things, the distribution on private property of any offensive materials, or“hate speech” which - with the increasing insanity afoot in politics today - can also be read to include campaign literature. Election integrity activists in the state have called this out, but there has been no official clarification.
The reason behind the newly proposed law can’t be patriotism, truly fighting for our constitutional governance. If it were, DeSantis and his tag team wouldn’t have allowed the shockingly unconstitutional, shoddy and dismissive treatment of Florida’s J6 families. For 2.5 years, Tallahassee ignored all of their requests for assistance; told them it was a federal matter so there was nothing they could do. Other states, however, managed to find a way to help their patriot families in light of the unconstitutional Purge. They gave rent and tax breaks along with food money and abeyance of vehicle and property taxes; some were even offered jobs to help families replace the lost income of the prisoner.
Even as of yesterday, more innocent patriots are being dragged from their homes by the government goon squads. We now KNOW the truth of the events of Jan. 6, 2021, thanks to House Speaker Johnson who released some of the original tapes, just yesterday. The patriots are proven to have been peaceful on the same day as more are arrested?? Lady Liberty is seriously ill. The Purge goes on.
Tallahassee also refused to grant citizens their CIVIL RIGHTS to make medical decisions about their own bodies. Unconstitutional.
And, oh yes…there’s that thing about unconstitutional acts, e.g., governance by Executive Order, from the feds. Our founding documents DO give states the legal right to disobey unlawful edicts. in the Tenth Amendment. This kind of legal pushback should be in use across America, in the tumult created by illegitimate acts of the cabal.
So, after all this, spare me the “standing against America’s enemies” guff behind this newest Florida legislative proposal.
Let me suggest the real answer behind the “Why this, WhyNow” question. It has nothing to do with “protecting” our nation, but, rather “providing”more funds to certain politicians.
Florida has the 3rd highest Jewish population of any state in the union. Many are large donors to political purses. DeSantis has actively courted the Jewish vote. He claims to have sent planes and war materials to Israel, three weeks after the October conflict broke out. If true, what funds might he have used for this, other than taxpayer money? As the AP says, DeSantis has often applied his political powers to take actions that coincide with his larger political goals.
If the elected representatives of Florida, or anywhere else, want to show they are still in charge, they MUST use our body of Constitutional law as the weapon against crime which it was written to be, and USE IT CORRECTLY. Don’t punish freedom of speech, even if you don’t like what you hear. Punish criminal acts as provided for by law. Punish ALL criminals, including those from DC, and those that DC supports. Definition of criminal activity knows no party or ideology. Those we trust to govern us, must know how to use our amazing founding documents to keep us free.
It's to "grease up' browns and blaxx to approve of a "legal" genocide of whites/Christians/men on CONUS, BEFORE the ashykenastys of Ukraine do it to the browns and blaxx LEFT ON CONUS.

How about we follow the Constitution and get the Gubbermit out of Edukashun?? [sic] (it's the 'enumerated powers clause). After we get The Feds outtta edukashun how about we 'git 'da State Edukators [sic] outta pushing the homosexual religion onto kids that BELONG TO PARENTS that might be Jewish, Christian or Agnostic?
Considering the labyrinth of unconstitutionality that pervades Floridian's normal existence this "flag" the writer throws is really just 'vitue signaling'.
