Hurricane Water Damage In Tampa Hits Some Residents Hard

Residents of Tampa who live near open waterways were hit hard by flood damage from hurricane Helene. The flooding was unexpected and many residents were caught unaware overnight, only to wake up to two feet of water in their homes and in their vehicles.

The flooding was caused by the storm surge, not rain.

Tow trucks were busy as many vehicles were totaled by the flood, and hauled away.

Below is a video of cars being flooded the night of the hurricane, setting off car alarms.
