NBC News and most Miami area TV stations reported teary-eyed at the removal of the LGBTQ crosswalk in Miami Beach. This included a tearful drag queen wearing caked-on makeup and bright feathers on top of his / her / they / them head.
In contrast, a number of anti-Woke advocates on Twitter were applauding the move back to common sense. This also included some gay people fed up with what they consider "over the top" and dangerous "TQ madness".
This summer, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy sent a letter to all 50 Governors demanding the states remove any political painting on the roads including rainbow crosswalks.
Some supporters of the removed crosswalks joyfully posted videos of pick-up trucks doing burnouts on comparable crosswalks like below.
