Fox 13 (Tampa Bay) reported on— and showed video— of an 86-year-old man rescued by police and firefighters from his roof, three stories up.
The elderly man in Tampa said that he has been removing the foliage falling from nearby trees onto the roof once or twice a year. He spoke to Fox 13 about the situation.
His wife warned him for years about still doing this himself, and now she wants him to leave this chore to someone else. He now thinks it is a good idea.
