In mid-January, WZVN (Gulf Coast News) in Ft. Myers, FL reported, "A shooting at the Waffle House lands four teens in the jailhouse."

The incident occurred in Port Charlotte on Kings Highway.

Deputies say that a young man threw a chair, wrestled a customer, and fired shots outside of the restaurant. Then three other teens helped hide the gun.

Employees had kicked the teen out for being loud and throwing a chair.
