In late February, WPBF TV news (West Palm Beach, FL) reported that Junior Boucher, accused of a brutal murder of a 65-year-old man at a Palm Gardens golf course, is now considered competent to stand trial.
Boucher is accused of hitting the man repeatedly with the victim's golf clubs and then holding his head underwater in a nearby pond.
The incident is thought to have been a random attack.
Previously Boucher was considered incompetent to stand trial.
In an earlier TV news report, below, WPTV, also based in West Palm Beach, reported on Boucher's previous criminal history.
Boucher's next court date is scheduled for April 10.
