Recently, a Sarasota woman was sentenced to 14 months in federal prison for calling for MAGA supporters to be shot on TikTok.

Authorities said that the woman was indicted on September 18, 2025, and a federal jury found her guilty in mid-January.

According to ABC 7 TV news, "In one video, she called for people to get guns and shoot somebody with a MAGA hat. She used hand gestures mimicking firing a gun."
