Our Congresswoman María Elvira Salazar denounces that, in the primary election by the leftist parties in Chile for the presidential election later this year, they have crossed the line by nominating former Labor Minister Jeannette Jara. She is a radical Communist who openly defends the Cuban dictatorship and represents the worst of Latin American Marxism. She won over 60% of the vote in the primary election, but only around 10% of all eligible voters in the nation participated in the left’s primary. The vast majority of voters stayed away from this primary.
The Cuban businessman Eduardo Pérez-Bengochea passed away in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Eduardo was a tireless anti-communist fighter and had battled cancer for over 10 years. When we began working on the US-Cuba Democracy PAC, it was Eduardo, together with his wife Sonia, who organized one of the first fundraising cocktail receptions. Rest In Peace, patriot!

Zohran Mamdani’s victory in the Democrat primary for Mayor in New York has created a serious crisis for Democrats nationwide, as his socialist policies are extreme and unacceptable to most Democrats, especially in the South and Midwest. A serious national problem. Nevertheless, Mamdani represents where the national Democrat party stands today. See: https://miamiindependent.com/zhoran-kwame-mamdani-is-todays-mainstream-democrat/.
According to his wife, Miguel Uribe, Colombian Senator and presidential candidate who was recently shot in an attempted assassination, came out well from the latest surgery he underwent. Miguel’s family and the Colombian people have gone through very critical moments. Let us pray that his recovery will be complete and he can return to his duties as a Senator and, possibly, one day reach the presidency.
Isabel Díaz Ayuso is a conservative-libertarian politician who is doing a wonderful job as President of the Community of Madrid. She visited Miami last week and met with NFL executives, to discuss the upcoming regular-season game between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders American football teams in Madrid on November 16. Let’s hope that the lights don’t go out during the game. Best of luck!
Senator Tom Tillis (R-NC) announced he would not seek reelection to the Senate in 2026. Tom has fiercely opposed President Trump’s plans in the Senate, including voting against the One Big Beautiful Bill. If no other MAGA candidate emerges, it appears Lara Trump may have to run.
A report from the Pew Research Center highlighted how, in the last election, the majority of Hispanics born outside the United States, and who are United States citizens, voted for Donald Trump for President.
“Mala” Kamala Harris hit the “boulevard” again in California, and rumors suggest she is seriously considering running for Governor of that state. This week, she was seen with young people dining at a well-known Japanese restaurant in San Francisco. The Democrats have lost their way and now depend on winning the New York mayoralty with a socialist.
Zohran Mamdani, a Muslim socialist, won the Democrat primary for Mayor in New York City last month, and will be the candidate representing the Democrat Party in the November general elections. God save us from this communist figure in the financial capital of the United States!
Andrew Cuomo handed over the mayoralty of New York to a Muslim socialist. Now we really have to worry about the Big Apple! However, although he lost the Democrat primary, he is registering as an independent to run in the general election. Problems ahead: there are three candidates running as independents, which will divide the anti-socialist vote. They should unite to prevent Mamdani from governing the Big Apple.
Hugo Carvajal, nicknamed “El Pollo,” pleaded guilty to drug trafficking before a jury in New York. Venezuelans must be in shock. In Venezuela, he was a former General and Deputy in the National Assembly.
Chuck Schumer, the Democrat Senator from New York and minority leader, was hospitalized due to dehydration. Temperatures in New York had reached triple digits Fahrenheit.
The wedding of the year was held in Venice, Italy between billionaire Jeff Bezos and former TV host Lauren Sánchez. The estimated cost of the wedding was $55 million for fewer than 200 guests. From an extraordinary gala featuring outfits by top designers, to a pajamas party reception, little to nothing was missing in the three days of celebrations and gondola rides. The bride wore a total of 27 stunning dresses, and Jeff looked happy alongside celebrities like himself. From the Kardashians, Oprah Winfrey, Ivanka Trump and others, to billionaires like Bezos, Venice will not be the same for a long time. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
Our congratulations to our great nation on our celebration of another Independence Day, July 4th—a date that represents the best of this country.
A drunk tells another: “The other day I was walking down the street when I found $200. As a good Christian, I asked myself: What would Jesus do in my place?” “And what did you do, buddy?” “I turned it into wine!”
