Miami, Florida - President Donald Trump gave instructions to make the “drug lords” who were on a speed boat that left Venezuela loaded with narcotics disappear. Very interesting to see how they vanished without leaving any trace. A very clear message: we are not going to allow our youth to continue being poisoned. In effect, the targeted speed boat was an instrument of a foreign power. The boat was operated by the Tren de Aragua gang, which was organized and is sponsored by the Government of Venezuela. Accordingly, the destruction of the boat was not a police action, but a military matter of national defense.

Trump announced that former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The date and location of the ceremony have not yet been announced. Another good recipient would be economist Thomas Sowell.

The Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections, Alina García, has notified Miami-Dade voters that if they wish to continue using Vote-By-Mail ballots, they must call her office. She is doing this despite the mandate from Trump to stop using Vote-By-Mail, and she was endorsed by Trump in her election. Vote-By-Mail does not require voter ID, there is no chain-of-custody of the ballots, and signature verification is very subjective. On November 4, the Cities of Miami, Miami Beach, Hialeah and Homestead will hold elections for mayor and commissioners.

Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar from Minneapolis has just filed her financial statements and surprised many by confirming that she has accumulated around $30 million in net worth. In just a few years, and with a limited salary, she has managed to become a multi-millionaire. What incredible luck! Is America a great country or what? And yet she does not appreciate her good fortune.

She has had her run-ins with Trump, and at 55 seems to want to enjoy the years she has left. More public officeholders should see the benefits of self-imposed term limits.

President Trump plans to close 120 IRS offices across the country. Very good!

Miguel Uribe, the father of the Senator of the same name who was murdered in Colombia, announced that he will run for the Presidency of his country. Uribe is deeply affected by the death of his son and the lack of information about the assassination. The assassin was a wayward teenager recruited by a social club that was part of President Petro’s network.

José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, former Prime Minister of Spain, has been credibly accused of helping Hugo Chávez and Nicolas Maduro consolidate a communist tyranny in Venezuela. We wouldn’t be surprised if Zapatero assisted these tyrants and drug traffickers.
