Doral, Florida – Lee Harvey Oswald may or may not have acted alone in assassinating President Kennedy, but Tyler Robinson certainly did not act alone in assassinating Charlie Kirk. The 22-year-old, a self-proclaimed furry and transphile, acted as an instrument of the woke progressive left that seeks to foment revolution and transform America into a totalitarian communist tyranny.
Charlie was a Christ-like figure. He went directly onto college campuses and preached to the multitudes in a loving, peaceful and thoughtful way. He challenged students to address his arguments in the same manner that he presented them—relying on empirical evidence and rational analysis.
He cannot be replaced, because such a charismatic figure is irreplaceable. But he founded an organization, Turning Point USA, and built a community with his wife and fellow leaders who will carry on his crusade.

Leftist Political Violence
In 2013, Charles Krauthammer observed that to understand American politics, one must realize that conservatives think progressives are stupid, while progressives think conservatives are evil. After Charlie’s assassination, conservatives are beginning to realize that progressives are not only stupid, but also evil—and ignorant to boot.
Since Krauthammer’s observation, the woke progressive left has increasingly turned to political violence:
1. The Tsarnaev Brothers, allies of Muslim jihadists and progressives, bombed the Boston Marathon in 2013.
2. Congressman Steve Scalise and other Republicans were shot at while practicing for the Congressional baseball game in 2017 by a “Bernie Brother.”
3. Senator Rand Paul was assaulted by his neighbor in 2017, breaking several ribs and causing him to lose part of his lung.
4. In 2022, Associate Justice Kavanaugh’s home was stalked by an armed assassin around the time Roe v. Wade was overturned.
5. President Trump was nearly assassinated at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024, and later that year a second assassin was discovered on his West Palm Beach golf course. See: https://miamiindependent.com/trump-survives-assassination-attempt-by-deep-state/.
6. Healthcare executive Brian Thompson was executed on a Manhattan sidewalk by Luigi Mangione, who has since been deified by the left. He has received favorable press coverage, inspired a play in his honor, and enjoys effusive support from personal admirers.
Clausewitz said that war is the continuation of diplomacy by other means. Progressives use violence as the continuation of politics by other means. Charlie’s assassin admitted that he pulled the trigger because he could no longer stand Charlie’s arguments.
Currently on Trial
Several criminal defendants are now on trial due to woke progressive ideology and policies:
1. Tyler Robinson, in custody for assassinating Charlie Kirk in Utah.
2. Luigi Mangione, facing pre-trial proceedings in New York City for assassinating Brian Thompson.
3. Ryan Ruth, on trial in South Florida for attempting to assassinate President Trump.
4. DeCarlos Brown, the unassimilated son of involuntary immigrants, in custody for killing a voluntary and lawful Ukrainian immigrant on a light rail train in Charleston, North Carolina, last August.
5. A repeat offender, in custody for murdering a retired veterinary professor at Auburn University while she was walking her dog earlier this year.
Fightin’ Words
The woke progressive left substitutes name-calling for reasoned debate. Instead of providing empirical evidence and rational analysis, it demonizes and dehumanizes its opponents. Such dehumanization through language paves the way for political violence:
1. Racist: A catch-all label for anyone who disagrees with progressive racial policies. For example, Charlie was called racist for opposing affirmative action and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
2. Fascist, Nazi: George Orwell noted in the 1940s that “fascist” had become a generic insult used by leftists. Today, every Republican president—especially Donald Trump—is branded “Hitler.”
3. Sexist, Misogynist: Automatic labels for anyone opposing abortion or feminist policies.
4. Homophobic: A slur used against conservatives who oppose the LGBTQ agenda.
5. Transphobic: A label for those who oppose gender ideology, such as the sexual mutilation of children or allowing men to compete in women’s sports.
6. Islamophobic: A charge leveled at anyone refusing to submit to dhimmi status under Muslim jihadists.
7. Bigot: Another generic insult for anyone who disagrees with woke ideology.
The Real Difference
Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA), Hillary Clinton’s former running mate, recently claimed that our rights come from government. By contrast, the U.S. Declaration of Independence proclaims that our rights are inalienably granted by our Creator, and governments are instituted to secure those rights. For that reason, we have the U.S. Constitution. Despite Krauthammer’s observation, this is the real difference between progressives and conservatives.
The best final word on Charlie’s assassination came from Franklin Graham, who said that in this case the Devil may have overplayed his hand. The Devil made the same mistake at Calvary.
