Miami, Florida - The funeral service for former Vice President Dick Cheney was attended by former Presidents Bush and Biden, as well as former Vice Presidents Kamala Harris and Mike Pence. President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance were not invited to the ceremony, which was led by his daughter, former Congresswoman Liz Cheney. Rachel Maddow was there, seated right next to Dr. Fauci. Very interesting figures were seen at the church where the funeral service was held for the man was, without a doubt, the most powerful Vice President in the nation’s history.

Cheney started his political career by administering President Nixon's wage and price control board, then served as Chief of Staff for President Ford. Last year both Cheneys endorsed Kamala for President.

José Mulino, the excellent President of Panama, stated that he plans to accompany María Corina Machado to receive her Nobel Peace Prize award in Oslo. God willing, María Corina will be able to attend. In addition to Mulino, I am sure that many other presidents from this hemisphere will try to accompany her. The president of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, also announced that he would accompany Venezuela’s María Corina Machado to receive her Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway. A beautiful gesture from the Ecuadorian president.

It had been years since I traveled to New York, a city I used to visit monthly for 15 years and greatly admired. At the insistence of my daughter and granddaughters, I joined the family group and went for a few days to the Capital of the World. I expected to find a devastated and chaotic city, but what I saw is far from that. Although the numbers don’t lie and the exodus of people and “brains” is notable, New York continues to be an extraordinary city in cultural, artistic, and business activities. With outstanding restaurants and theaters, and with people from all over the planet working and making each day in New York a more exciting place to live. In a single day, I interacted with natives of Senegal, El Salvador, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Afghanistan, and one or two Americans from Philadelphia, Virginia, and Vermont. We live in a wonderful country and have examples of everything. How fortunate we are!
