Miami, Florida - Secretary of State Marco Rubio emerged as the superstar during his speech at the Munich Security Conference. We had never seen an audience rise to its feet and applaud so enthusiastically for a speaker from America. Each day it seems more likely that Marco will be the Republican candidate for President in 2028, because he has charisma, is an excellent orator, and is respected in every corner of the world. Nevertheless, Vice President Vance has a wide lead in all the polls, and Marco has pledged to support him.

Marco is the best Secretary of State since John Quincy Adams and William Seward, but success in foreign policy has never been a winning basis for a presidential campaign in America.

The State of the Union address will take place on Tuesday, February 24, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, when President Trump delivers his speech before Congress. To counter the impact of this presentation, Democrats want to “boycott” the event and are planning a parallel presentation in Washington. They have not learned that they lost the election, and that comes with consequences. Republicans had to listen to speeches and lies during the eight years of Obama’s presidency and the four years of Biden’s.

The Canadian mining company Sherritt announced that it will suspend its operations in Cuba due to the fuel blockade affecting the island. The company will halt operations at the nickel and cobalt mines in Moa, on the eastern end of the island—one of Cuba’s most important industrial projects.

The American ambassador to Spain and Andorra, businessman and philanthropist Benjamín León, presented his credentials to King Felipe VI of Spain. Ambassador León, a man of great knowledge and unquestionable leadership, made an excellent presentation. He was accompanied by his wife, who has received praise from the Spanish press.

President Trump continues informing the press that Secretary of State Rubio is in talks with Cuban authorities to achieve regime change. The “know-it-alls” claim that the person inside Cuba who is “talking” is Raúl’s grandson, known as “El Cangrejo.” The truth is we do not know, but there is speculation that the conversations are taking place with two different branches of the ruling family, and that nominal President Díaz-Canel has been excluded from the process.

In effect, Cuba is a feudal monarchy owned by the Castro family. And some call this progress?

A vulgar campaign against Cuban exiles and their Members of Congress is being financed by pro-Castro elements in America. An exile community that served as a model, and opened doors for other Latinos in our country, is now facing absurd criticism from that same group which once earned widespread praise. What is the purpose? To try to discredit those who refuse to bend and who fight against Communism in our hemisphere? Keep an eye on these individuals—they are the same ones who support Maduro, Diosdado and the Rodríguez brothers in Venezuela, and who attack Secretary Rubio because they know his capability and strength.
Inflation has fallen to 2.4% annually, validating Trump’s economic policies. This is very important news.

President Trump has called for a presidential summit in Miami on March 7 to articulate a regional bloc to halt the offensive of Communist China in our hemisphere. Among the invited presidents are Javier Milei, Santiago Peña, Rodrigo Paz, Tito Asfura, Daniel Noboa and Nayib Bukele. We will continue reporting.

To compound the problems affecting Cuba, the spread of chikungunya infections has now led the United States Department of State to warn travelers to the island about the danger of contracting the disease. Travelers are unaware of the infections, illnesses and dangers that exist on the island due to the lack of hygiene. In addition to financially helping the tyranny, those who travel to Cuba risk their lives and those of their families.

Mark Zuckerberg is also moving to Millionaire’s Row in Indian Creek, Miami Beach. The rapid departure of several well-known billionaires and millionaires is leaving California “stripped bare.” Mark is the mind behind Facebook and became a multibillionaire several years ago.

After 30 years operating in Miami, Bahama Breeze restaurants are closing their doors.

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival was very successful. The fabulous weather helped produce record attendance. We woke up to 66 degrees, and by the time the festival began it was 70 degrees. The high reached 76 degrees in the afternoon. We could not have asked for better weather—sunny and cloudless.

A couple are in the middle of a concert hall. The philharmonic orchestra is performing a masterful piece. The wife nudges her husband and says, “How rude the gentleman next to me is. He’s asleep and snoring!” The husband replies, “And you woke me up for that?”
