Miami, Florida - The current situation in Cuba is a total mystery. For months now President Trump has been saying that “Cuba is next,” but just when we thought it would only be a couple of weeks, the situation got complicated with the war in Iran. Now we’re all praying for Cuba and the Cuban people, but we still don’t see a date for any serious movement that will remove communism from the Island. The visit of the CIA director to Cuba was announced. But we don’t know what happened — whether any agreement was reached or if Cuba accepted the $100 million in aid for the people that they had previously rejected? May God help the long-suffering Cuban people!
Louisiana voted for Trump and sent Senator Bill Cassidy packing — the one who voted to impeach the President. The finalists are Trump’s recommended candidate Julia Letlow and another MAGA contender. Trump must be dancing with joy.
For the Texas Senate elections, President Trump gave his support to Ken Paxton. It’s a tough contest and Trump didn’t need this last-minute complication. Let’s hope this decision works out well for him!
José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, the socialist former Prime Minister of Spain, has been charged in a corruption case, becoming the first former head of government in that country to be formally accused. He must appear before the court on June 2. The current Prime Minister, Pedrito Sánchez, the other socialist, is “in hot water” and has a massive problem on his hands.
The rumors are clear. The head of the CIA went to Cuba (among other reasons) to warn the leaders of that nefarious government about a possible indictment of former President Raúl Castro for the murder of four members of Brothers to the Rescue.
Kamala Harris, the Wicked Kamala, let loose and announced what the Democrats need to do to prevent the Republicans from winning the presidency again. She wants to eliminate the Electoral College, pack the Supreme Court with new justices, and turn Puerto Rico and DC into two additional states. The beauty of little Kamala is that “she just blurts everything out.” Welcome to Trucolandia!
Something is wrong with Barack Hussein Obama. Now he’s blaming President Trump for his marital problems with Michelle. That’s completely insane! We can’t believe it! We can’t digest it! We can’t process it! What a piece of work!
Kevin Warsh was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Chairman of the Federal Reserve. A new chapter for that important institution.
New information from the Weather Bureau confirms that Florida is the most dangerous state for dying from an electric shock. The data covers deaths from 2005 to the present. This tells us that during heavy downpours followed by thunder, we need to be careful and stay protected.
The California governor’s race has turned into a real thriller. The latest poll puts former Biden Secretary of HHS Xavier Becerra in first place. In a TV interview, Becerra lost his bearings and couldn’t answer the journalist’s questions. He simply didn’t know or couldn’t say where the hundreds of thousands of children who entered the country illegally during his time as secretary are located. Becerra is an affirmative action graduate of Stanford College and Law School, and accordingly does not measure up to what his credentials signify.
One of the former owners of Caffe Vialetto in Coral Gables announced on Facebook that he will soon be back with the opening of Casa Vialetto at a new location on 267 Alhambra Circle. This new venture will be run by only one of the owners. The other has retired.
Although we reported that Melania Trump would accompany the President on his trip to China, she did not go. The reasons are unknown, nor whether she has some allergy or illness that prevented the trip. At the last minute, Eric Trump and his wife Lara were added to the delegation.
Steve Hilton continues fighting every day in California to become the next governor of that state. It would be fantastic if he is eventually elected.
University students in Caracas took to the streets to protest on behalf of the prisoners who remain in Venezuelan jails. Despite reports that all would be released, this has not happened, and there are still hundreds of political prisoners behind bars. How much longer?
Sadly, a beloved and patriotic Cuban passed away in Miami: Dr. Pedro Roig. Pedro had a distinguished academic and patriotic career. Our condolences to his widow and family. May he rest in peace!
The teacher says to Jaimito: “Jaimito, did you copy Pedro’s exam?” Jaimito replied: “No, teacher.” Nevertheless, she replied: “Yes you did, because Pedro wrote ‘I don’t know’ and you wrote ‘me neither.’”
