Miami, Florida - Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) continues to fuel speculation about a 2028 presidential run. She recently announced that she is freezing her eggs, a personal decision she has been documenting publicly. The progressive New York congresswoman is aligning herself ever more closely with the far-left wing of American politics—an unfortunate development in the view of many observers.

The stock market continues to climb and currently sits near 54,000 on the Dow. The economy remains robust and the country strong. Ignore socialist rhetoric; that remains the real danger of the moment.

Hunter Biden has stated that his father’s cancer has spread and that it is painful to watch. Given that this cancer is so far along, it is likely that doctors knew about it when Biden ran for President in 2020, but Democrats hid the information in order to use Biden as our puppet President for the Obama-Biden 3.0 administration.

Republicans have lost nearly every Congressional seat in New York State. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and the Democratic machine tried to seize the last remaining Republican seat on Staten Island, but Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (of Cuban and Greek heritage) fought back and held it. Socialist-leaning Democrats are now pouring large sums into the race to defeat her. We are supporting Nicole.

More than 175,000 visas issued to foreign nationals have been canceled by the Trump Administration. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that a thorough review is underway and that visa issuance will continue to be scrutinized.

The outstanding Senator Marsha Blackburn won the Republican primary in Tennessee and is now the clear favorite to win the governorship. She is a decent, hardworking, and capable public servant. Congratulations.

Alfonso “Alfy” Fanjul has died. Together with his brother Pepe, he built one of Florida’s great sugar empires, Florida Crystals, with major holdings in Florida and the Dominican Republic. Religious services were held in Palm Beach and attended by business and political figures, including former President Bill Clinton.

U.S. Representative Kay Granger, who rose to chair the House Appropriations Committee, has died in Texas at age 83. She was a good friend of the cause of a free Cuba. May she rest in peace.

Procter & Gamble, one of America’s most successful companies, has acquired a vitamin and supplement manufacturer Thorne HealthTech for nearly $4 billion. At present, eight out of ten Americans take some form of dietary supplement.

Thousands of students are returning to school, and the change is already visible on the streets during peak hours. We wish every student success in the new academic year.

Michigan is one of the most challenging states in the midterm elections. Democrats have nominated a socialist jihadist, Abdul El-Sayed, who will face a patriotic Republican, former FBI agent and Congressman Mike Rogers. Rogers is battling a flood of outside money from across the country.

In the height of absurdity, Cuba is advising tourists to bring their own toilet paper because many public restrooms lack paper and napkins. What a state of affairs we have reached! Some use newspapers, when they can be found, so that their butts can learn to read.

In the Wisconsin Democrat primary elections, progressives attempted to elect a Democratic Socialist candidate for governor: Francesca Hong, who had the support of “the Squad” and other progressive forces. She lost to Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley.

The recent Democrat primary elections in major states were less dramatic than the progressive press predicted. While a progressive candidate backed by Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won the Democrat nomination for the United States Senate narrowly in Michigan, elsewhere progressive candidates suffered decisive defeats—most notably former “Squad” member Cori Bush, who was thoroughly defeated in her attempt to regain her Congressional seat from St. Louis, Missouri.

Jorge Messi, father of Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi, has died at age 68. Our condolences to the family and to Lionel. That is a very young age these days.

A thief sneaks into a house at midnight to rob it. He climbs through a window, and in the darkness hears a voice: “Jesus is watching you!” Startled, he freezes. When nothing happens, he continues. The voice speaks again: “Jesus is watching you!” Frightened, the thief turns on the light and sees a parrot in a cage. “You scared me half to death!” he says. “What’s your name, little bird?” “Pedro,” the parrot replies. “Pedro is a strange name for a parrot,” the thief says. “Even stranger,” answers the parrot, “is the name Jesus for a Doberman.”
