Palm Beach County Election Challenge Erupts into Explosive Criminal Scandal
Allegations Include Election Fraud, Judicial Misconduct, Witness Intimidation, and Grand Theft of Taxpayer Funds
West Palm Beach, FL — In a rapidly developing political and legal firestorm, Palm Beach County faces explosive allegations of election fraud and criminal misconduct stemming from the 2024 General Election. At the center is Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link, now the subject of sworn criminal complaints and a civil election contest that has triggered calls for immediate state and federal intervention.
Plaintiff Jeff Buongiorno, the Republican nominee for Supervisor of Elections in 2024, has filed a motion to disqualify Judge Maxine Cheesman following a July 1st evidentiary hearing that he alleges was “a sham.” According to sworn affidavits and court filings, Judge Cheesman barred twelve witnesses from testifying, including election analyst Chris Gleason, whose affidavit and certified public records were submitted into evidence in compliance with court procedure.
But rather than allow Gleason to present his findings in open court, Judge Cheesman interrupted his testimony and, in open session, joined the defense in warning him of possible prosecution. When Gleason asked, “Prosecution for what—telling the truth?”, Judge Cheesman allowed a courtroom deputy to physically approach the witness stand in a visibly threatening manner, creating a chilling effect on further testimony. The evidence—over 400 pages of official election records—was never reviewed.
“This hearing was a show trial. The evidence was submitted in proper form and we followed every rule. If the glove doesn’t fit—you must acquit,” said Buongiorno, invoking the famous legal standard to highlight the court's refusal to evaluate the documents.
Despite holding a 7,600-vote lead in in-person voting, Buongiorno lost the race after 169,530 Vote-by-Mail (VBM) ballots were credited to Link—13,006 more than Vice President Kamala Harris received in the same county.
The Most Egregious Example:
• Wendy Sartory Link received 411,290 total votes, including 169,530 Vote-by-Mail ballots.
• Kamala Harris received 372,512 total votes in Palm Beach County, with 156,524 VBM ballots.
• Link outperformed Harris by 38,778 votes overall and 13,006 VBM votes—a statistically impossible outcome for a down-ballot local race.
• A study of ten contested races revealed identical patterns: Republicans led in in-person voting but lost after VBM surges between 73%–75% in favor of Democrats, an anomaly without historical or demographic precedent.
Additional Allegations Include:
• Refusal to release mandatory public records required for election certification, in violation of Rule 1S-2.053.
• Sworn admission by Deputy SOE Alison Novoa that she altered election records later used in the official certification.
• Misuse of public funds: Over $100,000 in Palm Beach County taxpayer money was used to fund Link’s personal legal defense, a violation of Florida Statute § 111.07 and Attorney General Opinion 77-87.
• Criminal complaints filed with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Office of Election Crimes and Security.
“This is not just election misconduct—it’s a coordinated cover-up involving judicial suppression of evidence and theft of public money,” Buongiorno said. “The facts are backed by certified public records, sworn affidavits, and data that cannot be ignored.”

• Return of taxpayer funds used illegally
