Is THIS RPOF "Autonomy"?

This is going to be short and sweet. After last week’s Fourth District Decision on the FRA case, the RPOF sent out an email to all registered “Republicans” stressing that the ruling underscored their autonomy, and that no one had better challenge them again.
I know we’re not supposed to question Tallahassee’s autonomy, but . . . Governor Ronald DeSantis signed a bill last week which limits citizen oversight of police actions. Feels like “autonomy” run amok.
This is to be expected, I think, from a regime which uses police to prevent people from exercising their constitutional rights of free assembly and association, et. al. I’ve literally lost count of the instances where police were called to block entry or evict citizens from public meetings since DeSantis was governor.
Florida’s “Sunshine Law” (F.S. 286.011) mandates that public meetings of state or local government boards and commissions be open to the public, with reasonable notice provided and minutes recorded. The law also ensures a public right to comment, though agencies can adopt reasonable rules to maintain order.
This ostensible “sunshine” quickly goes behind clouds when citizens are barred from public meetings by their own government! Citizens, residents of Florida, are overtly kept out.
Tally, it seems, is breaking its own laws.
The Miami-Dade Independent Civilian Panel says that their focus is on “providing a civilian perspective for policymaking and analysis within the police department and the criminal justice system.” Rodney Jacobs, a member of the Miami Civilian Investigative Panel, stated that while law enforcement recognizes the necessity of civilian oversight for public safety, they prefer not to have civilians involved in the process.
Say what??
Think about that statement. . . We want to know what civilians (non-police) think, but we don’t want them involved in the process?? We only want to TELL them what is happening, then act like we care about what they think???
This might be considered ludicrous if it weren’t for all the use of police action by The RPOF in the past.
This reminds me of why the citizens grand jury oversight groups are springing up in states around the country, where citizens are trying to recapture their Constitutional rights to protect themselves from their government. THAT was the original purpose of a Grand Jury, but prosecutors have long ago, stolen the Grand Jury process for their own uses.
Florida is one of the states in which Citizen Grand Jury Oversight groups are forming, and I can understand why. Around the country, in a number of states in which citizens’ freedoms have been violated, the Citizen GJ Oversight is growing.

Commies. Every Single One of them.... Yes, even the beloved DeSantis, is acting like a commie.
Exactly.
🏆 glad people are finally catching up Desantis is corrupt and Florida isn't the example for other states. Holding our own accountable is important or it looks kinda ignorant complaining about the other side when your doing the same thing.
Question:
Where WERE you when a court clerk in Nassau county made the NUMBER ONE PAGE at "embezzlement dot com"? Stole TENS of millions and several homes FROM FAMILIES!!
WHERE were you?
Look up "Mixon", in Nassau, and get back to us-I STOPPED counting at 17 times IN JAIL for a license "issue", BUT this was in full tilt, but the courts were "worried" about white men.. This happened BECAUSE of unaccountable "women" in charge....get over it.
That's WHY COLUMBA is BLIND
Where were you? Did you report it to your representatives and stay on them? Did you make it a campaign issue next election? I understand your frustration but we all need to be involved
