Doral, Florida – Charlie Kirk was recently interviewed on Tucker Carlson’s podcast for a couple of hours. Charlie emphasized the importance of supporting MAGA candidates against incumbent Republican politicians who fail to represent the views of Republican voters. Both Charlie and Tucker noted the growing misalignment between Republican voters and many of their elected representatives.
For example, they cited:
1. U.S. Senator Lindsey “Grahamnesty” (RINO–SC), who continues to support the war in Ukraine while ignoring the preferences of his constituents.
2. The U.S. Senate race in Kentucky to replace Senator Mitch McConnell (RINO–KY), where Charlie’s Turning Point USA is supporting Nate Morris, who has proposed an immigration moratorium.
3. Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar (RINO–So. FL), who has proposed legislation that, in effect, grants amnesty to illegal aliens. See: Miami Independent link. Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (RINO–So. FL), along with about a dozen Democrat and Republican colleagues, has co-sponsored this legislation. Both were born in Florida to lawful Cuban immigrants, subject to U.S. jurisdiction.
Granting amnesty to illegal aliens directly contradicts the instructions Republican voters delivered to their representatives in last November’s elections. The overwhelming majority voted to close the borders and deport all illegal aliens in the country. These priorities were acknowledged by President Trump, Vice President Vance, and Deputy Chief of Staff Miller, who are working hard to fulfill those promises. Congresswoman Salazar’s proposal undermines their efforts.
Nevertheless, some Republicans in Name Only (RINOs) refuse to follow the clear mandate of their voters, instead serving ideological preferences and business interests. In Congresswoman Salazar’s case, she has long embraced leftist positions, rejects the America First agenda, and refuses to wear a red MAGA cap.

Salazar argues that amnesty is necessary to win the Latino vote for Republicans. But Republicans are already winning Latino support with their commitment to close the borders and deport illegal aliens. Lawful Latino immigrants strongly oppose open borders. See: Friends of Alligator Alcatraz. The truth is, these illegal aliens are the same kind of people that our parents left behind when they brought us to America. Send them back!
Furthermore, Salazar’s legislation serves not only her leftist ideology but also certain business interests—particularly agriculture and hospitality. In agriculture, however, automation is advancing rapidly under innovators like Elon Musk, reducing the need for migrant labor. In hospitality, youth male unemployment already stands at 7%. Lawful residents should have first priority for these jobs.
Other objections to the so-called “Dignity Act” include:
1. The bill’s title is misleading. If illegal aliens cared about true dignity, they would not have invaded our country illegally.
2. Salazar claims illegal aliens are essential for key industries and proposes a path to amnesty through work, taxes and economic contributions. Yet citizenship cannot be earned through labor alone—it requires assimilation into basic American principles, including respect for the rule of law.
3. Supporters argue most illegal aliens are law-abiding and hardworking. But their first act in America was to break the law. First impressions last.
4. Calls for “humane” treatment ignore the real inhumanity of open borders, which fuel mass human trafficking.
5. Appeals for due process in deportation ring hollow when there was no due process in their unlawful mass entry.
Charlie and Tucker concluded that Salazar’s legislation reflects the ruling class’s preference to import foreigners in order to replace the current population. These newcomers lack America’s culture of freedom, family and entrepreneurship. They are more inclined to support a technocratic ruling class in exchange for government handouts.
Charlie estimated that through a combination of voluntary and involuntary deportations, a Trump 2.0 administration could remove approximately 10 million illegal aliens within four years.
Now that Charlie has been taken from us, it is up to true Republican voters to ensure their representatives follow their instructions. That means supporting MAGA candidates in Republican primaries and voting in person.
