This letter was sent to Evan Power Chair of the RPOF (Republican Party of Florida). Today I updated it to include the MAJOR LOSS of Miami where only 39,000 people voted. I have not received an answer. Please share it and resend.
Dear Evan:
Over the last couple of weeks I have been receiving emails and texts from my listeners all saying the same thing – “Where is the GOP - Are they really MAGA?” In this time of turmoil, I wanted you to see what the people think. The following is a combination of their thoughts and concerns along with mine. Now since we have lost Miami largely due to GOP policy, I wonder if the GOP actually wants to win.
My listeners are getting more and more concerned that the GOP is more interested with fighting MAGA and Trump than winning elections? Because of the GOP’s lack of interest and poor messaging the GOP gave MIAMI, New York City, New Jersey and Virginia to the communists. Is the GOP more afraid of being called racist than they are of running a decent campaign. It appears that the only thing the GOP excels at is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Is the RPOF is using our donations to purge RECs rather than have a good “get out the vote” campaign? This is the fastest way to lose an election. Registering people to vote doesn’t mean they will vote. 600,000 MAGA stayed home because the GOP didn’t give them a good reason to vote. What would happen if they stayed home next year in Florida? This would chip away from the Republican lead. You MUST give the people a reason to vote. There are more Trump and MAGA supporters than Republicans. Trashing them will lose elections regardless of your registration numbers. Eliminating other points of view makes it impossible to see the needs and concerns of your voters.
My listeners have voiced their opinion on the following, Is the RPOF:
1. Wasting time fighting grassroots, MAGA, Manatee Co, Committeeman of VOLUSIA County REC, Florida Republican Assembly, to name a few
2. Directing all REC to not host the Reclaim Campaign, which would improve election integrity
3. Supporting overly expensive, inefficient Green energy programs and subsidies resulting in excessive rate hikes for users/voters.
4. Supporting sky high insurance rates and legislation favoring Insurance companies over the people,. increasing the cost of housing reducing affordability.
My listeners really want to know “Whose side is the RPOF on???” Many feel like they are wasting their time and money with the RPOF. I have encouraged them to contact you directly.
Once again, who is the RPOF working for? Our GOP legislators this year have voted for bills and programs that actually harm their constituents. Why would people vote for a party that does them harm?.
Some examples they mentioned are:
1. Farm Bill giving Agricultural tax designation to utilities putting up destructive, expensive, inefficient solar farms and raising electric rates.
2. Live Local Act and, SB 180, gives developers authority over local governments to rezone and create high density housing with the potential to reduce homeownership.
HB 479 takes local control of water (quantity, quality and pollution) out of the hands of local county elected officials and puts it in the hands of unelected regional councils.
3. Voting against HB359 - hand counting ballots Why would the RPOF want to reduce election integrity
4.Where is the student outreach program? Ignoring the college students will create a void which will be filled by Islamists. like CAIR Florida and other anti-American groups like DSA (Democrat Socialist Association). These people don’t play. They are the real enemy with one goal: Divide and conquer. By going after MAGA and other grassroots, you are playing into their hands. Again 600,000 MAGA did not vote in NYC, VA and NJ. What happens if the same is done in Florida? Just think of the city Miami.
