Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik is already tied with Democratic Governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, for a potential run for the governorship. Elise is a workhorse, and I wouldn’t doubt that she could win that important position in 2026.

Karine Jean-Pierre, who was the White House Press Secretary during President Biden’s term, is leaving the Democrat Party and registering as an independent. She announced that she will soon publish a book describing how things were run during the “Sleeping Beauty” era. Even though Karine is not very trustworthy, it will be interesting to see how she describes the crisis we all suffered, and that she “covered up” weekly.

For the first time in more than 60 years, students in Cuba are boldly criticizing the Communist misgovernment and calling for a strike. The tyrant Díaz-Canel can no longer keep silencing the population.

In a special election for District 4 of the Commissioners for the City of Miami, activist and urban planner Ralph Rosado defeated José Regalado, a member of the Regalado clan, with 55% of the vote. We wish the new Commissioner much success!

Murder rates in our country have dramatically fallen thanks to Trump’s strong hand. We are witnessing a decline not previously imagined. Excellent.

Last Friday, the Board of Trustees of Florida International University unanimously voted to make Interim President Jeanette Núñez the permanent President. Roger Tovar, who heads the board, expressed his support for the decision. Jeanette has demonstrated leadership, compassion, and a desire to move our important university forward. The Mayor of Hialeah, Jacqueline García Roves, made intelligent statements regarding the case presented by the State Attorney’s Office against Hialeah’s former Chief of Police. She gave her support to the current chief and reminded everyone that Hialeah is the second safest city in Florida.

Bernard Kerik, who was Chief of Police in New York City during the events of September 11, 2001, has died at age 69. Kerik was an important ally of President Trump.
