WTXL in Tallahassee report that stray pit bulls have effectively taken over a neighborhood in Midway, a town west of Tallahassee along I-10 with a population of under 4000.

This has been going on for over a year, with no town response due to the animal shelter being overcapacity.

One mother and daughter said that they were too scared to get out of their car after the dogs surrounded them.

One man spoke saying that he had been bitten, after being surrounded by three pit bulls.

"If they would have locked on my ankles, I don't what I would do," he told WTXL. "I was TERRIFIED!"
