Doral, Florida - This week the Trump presidential campaign held a rally in Trump National Doral golf resort, and the contrast with the Biden campaign was glaring. The Trumpster delivered a dynamic speech at the end of the evening to a crowd of some 4,500 or so. The speakers’ platform was set up on the 10th hole of the Blue Monster, one of the world’s leading professional championship courses, and Trump challenged President Biden to a game on that course. Biden, of course, subsequently declined after having bragged about his golfing prowess at their debate last month.

The Trump family purchased this golf resort around 10 years ago when it had fallen into disrepair, and they returned it to world-class status. They plan to do the same again with America.

The facility opened to the public at 2:00 pm and speakers started at 5:00 pm. Nevertheless, the crowd endured the over-100 degree heat and corresponding humidity to congregate, chat and share their anticipation. Your intrepid reporter sat through it all to engage in authentic journalism.

    Speakers

The speakers started with a Hispanic evangelical pastor offering a prayer, an indication of the main purpose of this rally: Not to announce Senator Marco Rubio as Trump’s Vice Presidential running mate, but to appeal to Hispanic voters. This group is no longer monolithically Roman Catholic, especially here in America. In fact, Catholic Charities is a government contractor participating in the human trafficking facilitated by the open-borders policy of the Obama-Biden 3.0 administration. Around a quarter of its revenue comes from such activities in its status as an NGO (Non-Government Organization).
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by a veteran of Brigade 2506, the freedom fighters abandoned by a Democrat administration at Bay of Pigs. The national anthem was sung vigorously by a local police officer. Trump backs the blue, and so do most Hispanics.

The next group of speakers was led by Mike Lindell, owner of My Pillow and a staunch supporter of election integrity efforts. Then came Kevin Cabrera, County Commissioner and head of the local Trump campaign. He agreed with Trump that: “Our revenge is success.” Kevin also serves as State Committeeman for the local Republican party. They were represented by their Chairman, who has referred to Trump as a “petulant child.” The State Committeewoman is as old as Crooked Joe Biden, and as effective at leading the party.

He was followed by Representative David Borrero, who represents Doral in the state capital. He has persevered with his endorsement of Trump for President from the very beginning, despite pressure from the Republican establishment for him to endorse Governor DeSantis. Borrero observed that Trump represents the American fighting spirit, from Washington crossing the Delaware river to attack the Hessians in Trenton during 1776, to the Marines hoisting the American flag on Iwo Jima in World War II during 1945, to President Trump warning the Taliban leader against harming a single American soldier in preparation for the American withdrawal during 2020.

These speakers were followed by several Florida Congressmen: Byron Donalds, Maria Elvira Salazar, Carlos Gimenez and Mario Diaz-Balart. Congresswoman Salazar, a converted RINO Never-Trumper, observed that Hispanics are welcome in the Republican party, as if we didn’t know that already. She added that Hispanics and Republicans share the same values: “We are law-abiding, we like small government, we are family-oriented.”

Separately, Professor Geraldo Cadava of Northwestern University has observed that Hispanics are a constituency that values: “family, church and work.” Those are not the woke progressive values of today’s Democrat party. Ronald Reagan said that Hispanics are Republicans, but they just don’t know it yet. It is true that Hispanics are naturally conservative, but this insight is not self-executing. It has to be explained and implemented, and Trump has been doing that.

Florida Senators Marco Rubio, who is under consideration for Vice President, and Rick Scott, who is running for re-election, followed as speakers. Scott announced his candidacy for Senate Majority Leader in the next Congress against Senators Thune and Cornyn. Rubio should be nominated at least for Secretary of State, and thereafter for Military Governor of Cuba after its reconquest. The bilingual speakers also showed off their skills at speaking fluent Spanish.

The next speakers were sons Donald Trump Junior and Eric Trump. They are crowd favorites and did not disappoint. Eric also introduced Alina Habba, a relentless litigator and champion of the Trumpian cause against the wrongful lawfare waged by Democrats. Barron Trump also made an appearance but did not speak.

Trump Connects With Hispanics And Other Americans

Finally, Trump talked for close to 75 minutes starting at almost 8:00 p.m. He connected with the biggest component of his crowd: immigrants who fled socialism in Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and the rest of Latin America, and who now see a socialist revolution attempting to engulf America. They immigrated lawfully, complying with the rule of law which is the foundation of our liberty, and are offended by all the illegal aliens flooding the open borders of the Obama-Biden 3.0 administration.

Hispanics have the highest rate of entrepreneurship, that is, starting and operating small and medium-sized business, of any minority group. We have been decimated by the inflationary, tax and regulatory policies of this administration. Trump is a successful entrepreneur, and during his administration he kept inflation in check, reduced taxes and enacted reasonable regulation. He has shown that his policies will allow entrepreneurs to create a thriving economy. Most Hispanic did not come to America in order to go on public assistance, or to become government or even business bureaucrats.

Americans immigrated lawfully in order to work hard and thereby make a better life for themselves and their families. Hispanics are no different, and Trump connects with Americans of all ethnicities, national origins and skin color. Those qualities do not define American nationality; that is defined by ideology and culture: Judeo-Christian, bourgeois and capitalist. As Adolf Hitler pointed out, America is a mongrel nation.

Great reporting, Ed, and thanks for being our intrepid citizen reporter on scene. I wonder who could be the GOP Chair who once called Trump "a petulant child"? We've all said stupid things in the past, but that one tops most!
