Doral, Florida - The RINO Party Of Florida is in a hole and keeps digging. At a time when they should be instructing their lawyers to prevent illegal aliens from registering to vote, instead they are instructing their lawyers to send letters to the Florida Republican Assembly demanding that they cease and desist from using the name “Republican” and the elephant symbol. Indeed, it is the RPOF that is deceiving the public with its name and symbol. They should cease and desist from using those, and instead use their real name and symbol: “RINO = Republican In Name Only” and the symbol of a rhinoceros.

The Florida Republican Assembly, including its several local and county chapters, is the state chapter of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies. This grassroots conservative group was founded in California during the 1930’s to support conservative Republicans against progressive Republicans who embraced FDR’s New Deal. They worked effectively with Ronald Reagan during his governorship from 1967 to 1974, and came to Florida during the 1990’s.

Ronald Reagan said of the Republican Assemblies: “We are the Republican wing of the Republican party, the home of the Frederick Douglass Republicans, and the conscience of the Republican party.” The rest are RINO’s.

Now the RPOF has launched a campaign of legal letter-writing against FRA chapters around the state. The timing is not surprising, because now is the season of primary elections, including county-wide elections for Republican State Committeemen and Republican Executive Committees. In addition to sending these litigation letters, the RPOF is requiring that members of the FRA may not serve in such official party positions. This lawfare has the effect of disrupting Republican dissidents participating in primary election challenges and running for party positions.

Since 2020, the FRA has been expanding vigorously in Florida, outstripping in growth the RPOF. The FRA takes a three-pronged approach to growth: (1) community development; (2) legislative engagement; and (3) candidate support. The FRA has defeated the RPOF on several legislative fights this year, including to preserve election integrity, and is supporting conservative challengers in Republican primaries, especially Gerry James in Senate District 7.

The Republican Liberty Caucus is a grassroots libertarian group, but it has not been the target of such lawfare, even though they also use the name Republican and the elephant symbol. The reason is said to be that the RLC has been in Florida for over 25 years, but so has the FRA. They also endorse candidates in Republican primary elections.

These litigation letters reflect the view of the RPOF and its minions that politics is a business, not a necessity. It is a fight for power in order to make money, not to preserve our liberty. They seek to make a living and enhance their net worth from politics, while conservatives seek to oppose the tyrannical advance of woke progressives, political crime families and the administrative state. The RPOF looks at its name and symbol as business property and assets to be hoarded, instead of as tools to be wielded in the defense of liberty and in advancing the conservative cause.

    RINO’s and Donkeys

The RPOF’s lawfare against grassroots conservatives and the MAGA and America First movement is similar to the Democrat’s lawfare against Donald Trump. In both cases, the litigants are envious and jealous of the defendants’ success at connecting with voters, citizens and taxpayers, and knows that they cannot win a fair fight. Accordingly, they must rely on litigation and rigging the electoral process. Election integrity is not a priority for either RINO’s or Democrats, but an obstacle to their machinations.

The RPOF should learn a lesson from this month’s parliamentary elections in England. There the so-called Conservative party had governed for 14 years, but had strayed from conservative principles. Instead, they adopted higher taxes, unlimited immigration, climate change regulation and affirmative action. They had taken the self-loathing view that their party was “too male, pale and stale.” The Labor (Socialist) party received 33% of the votes cast in those elections and a majority of the seats in parliament. Conservatives received 22%, Reform (the real conservatives) received 14% in their first election, and Liberal Democrats received 12%. Reform is poised to replace Conservatives as the real conservative party in England.

The FRA is coming soon to Miami-Dade County. They are sorely needed as an alternative to the cowardice, corruption and incompetence of the county RINO Executive Committee. At this week’s Trump rally in Doral, the local REC could not recruit sufficient volunteers to help with the event, just like they do not recruit poll-watchers, door-knockers or other political activists. As Ronald Reagan observed: “Your moral and ethical values should always transcend party loyalty.”
