Rosie Cordero-Stutz is running to be the highest law enforcement officer in Miami-Dade County in the past 60 years. As the first constitutional sheriff in over 60 years, her priorities include ensuring safety and security, commitment to law and order, eliminating public corruption, supporting training and mental health, prioritizing funding for the police and public safety, and more.

In Miami-Dade County, some law officers, including Rosie’s past police director among other colleagues, have been detained by other departments but rarely charged or further investigated.

According to Rosie's August 20, 2024 tweet she alledges suspended Miami Dade Commissioner Joe Martinez sent the fake voter guide.
