In the middle of the storm investigations, and election fraud concerns, I was suddenly reminded of the Governor of Florida’s announcement that HE was going to look into the attempt to kill Donald Trump at his golf course at West Palm Beach, on Sept. 15, two months after the first, at Butler, PA.
On Sept. 17, DeSantis took the podium (his favorite position) on Fox and, along with AG Moody, directed state agencies to work EXPEDITIOUSLY provide full transparency.
Of course, ‘full transparency’ is a concept with which Ronald DeSantis struggles, given his past treatment of his constituents. Examples of his back-room, black-room dealings abound; take election integrity and medical freedom legislation for two.
He says that the attempt on Donald Trump’s life included “multiple violations of Fl state law”. I should hope so! But, was that not true of the raid on Mar a Lago, where the Governor’s silence was deaffening? The public deserves to know the truth. I agree. The people of Florida AND America deserve the WHOLE truth about this and SO much more.
What about other egregious acts by his RPOF - including shuting down county Republican committees, and fake voter guides, in the voting arena, for instance? I know, just cork it, Kat. Guess those things are ok under Tallahassee’s laws.
Maybe my radar is up on the investigation, because of the loud silence from Tallahassee, which seems to occur when convenient for them. Helene and Milton have interrupted, I know, but nothing? The Office of Statewide Prosecutor, to whom DeGov gave charge of the investigation, probably was not involved in storm preparations or clean up. Some one still has to be looking into such a serious thing as trying to kill a former POTUS. Don’t they?
OR…maybe DeGov is out camapaigning for Trump, as he’d promised. lol.. as they say.
Those who are now involved in this “investigation” probably understand DeGov’s masked methodology better than any.
But, then, DeSantis is right there with the MSM, who have completely forgotten about the attempt. So, there’s that.
OK. we want to know, regardless of who tells us, but in doing what he did, grabbing yet another public platform to pontificate, Ron DeSantis drew special attention to himself and his state. HE was going to learn what others couldn’t, it was implied; so, our expectations were raised. Now, six weeks later, nothing.
WHY?
State newspapers, both Left-and right-leaning have queried Tallahassee, and received no response that I can find. The Dems are surmising that FL’s authority is clashing with the fed’s, thus slowing up the investigation. LOL is all I have to say about that.
What investigation? Routh, the perp, was officially charged, the first week of October, and I believe that is all the feds intend to do about it. Look what they haven’t done with Butler.
So…Gov, it’s your time to shine. Maybe if someone provides you with a large podium….
