Recently, we wrote about the bills sponsored by Florida Republican State Senator Jason Brodeur which target media and political speech in a very tyrannical way. Brodeur sponsored legislation to force independent media to 'register' if they criticize the governor, and also SB 1220 which weakens defamation law and free speech protection for media.
The Miami Independent and source analysts have gone through the campaign contributions of Senator Brodeur and have found the largest campaign contributions by far come from the Florida Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee.
We will be reaching out for comment with this organization.
What can we do to protest this action and to counteract the initiative?

Well? Where is the text of the bill. Send it to my email. Hard to say you do not have a bested interest, so I would like to see the actual bill proposed, please.
What's behind all this is obviously NOT republicrat or democan. What our government is, now is criminal, nothing more, nothing less. The total blatant apostasy from morals, honesty, honor, and the Constitution by the vast majority of congress, the senate, and the rest of the immense government machine is too blatant to miss or ignore. We have no kings, princes or royality in this country... and we are not a class system society. If this Republican Senator wants to punish people for telling the truth about the people THEY elected, it's obvious he is against our Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land. By definition he is a traitor and should be arrested. How much more baltant can these spoilt children be? As a child it's immature and spoilt. As an adult, it's criminal and treason.
