Miami, Florida - Cubans have been out in the streets of Havana, in the adjoining towns of Marianao and Miramar, in Moron, Camaguey, and in other parts of the country, for more than two weeks. Cries of “FREEDOM” echo across the entire country. There is no doubt that a change is going to happen on the Island, not only because President Trump has declared it, but also because the Cuban people can no longer take it. It has been 67 years of deaths, imprisonments, and lack of the most basic essentials. In exile, we are watching closely and praying, but although we want immediate change, we do not accept band-aids. A Cuba without the Castros and their lackeys is the very least we demand.

Ecuador expelled the entire Cuban diplomatic delegation from its country. There have been no explanations so far. Ecuador also collaborated with the American military to strike against drug cartels. Ecuador is no longer the country it once was, and now it must be respected and supported!

Montana Republican Senator Steve Daines announced that he would not run for a third term in the Senate, creating an opportunity for the Democrats. Daines recommended Kurt Alme as his successor. Minutes later, President Trump also endorsed him. Republicans have been hit with a wave of resignations in these elections.

The Shield of the Americas Summit was held at Trump National golf resort in Doral. It was an important meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation on issues such as combating drug trafficking and organized crime, controlling irregular migration, reducing the influence of communist China in the region, and promoting hemispheric freedom, security and prosperity. Twelve leaders attended, including Javier Milei from Argentina, Rodrigo Paz from Bolivia, Daniel Noboa from Ecuador, Rodrigo Chaves from Costa Rica, Luis Abinader from the Dominican Republic, Nayib Bukele from El Salvador, Tito Asfura from Honduras, José Raúl Mulino from Panama, Santiago Peña from Paraguay, José Antonio Kast from Chile, and others. Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia were not invited. Well… see you next time!

The tribute to Jesse Jackson was a vulgar political act, criticized even by the deceased's own son. Barack Hussein Obama went after President Trump and had to be called out for his lack of sensitivity. Other speeches came from former presidents Clinton and Biden. It was neither the place nor the time to air their frustrations.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta (also known as Facebook), just paid $170 million for a residence in Indian Creek, next to Miami Beach, where other billionaires who left California for Florida also live. Zuckerberg's fortune is estimated at $224.6 billion as of now.

Pedro Sánchez, Spain's prime minister, has refused to cooperate with the United States in its war against Iran. Little Pedro is a loose cannon and is playing with fire. The days of Iran's government are numbered, and the United States will emerge even stronger after these initial moments.

President Trump announced that he was replacing Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem with Oklahoma Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin. The truth is that Ms. Noem made a tremendous effort to limit the number of illegals in the country and succeeded beyond expectations. Your columnist thinks that second-tier issues cost her the position.

Britney Spears was arrested in California after receiving a DUI. She spent one night in jail, but was released and sent home, where she will spend the next few days with her children. Britney is one of the singers with the most albums sold.

Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the late Supreme Leader of Iran, has been selected to take the reins of his country. The current disaster in that rich country is enormous. They had their chance, just like President Maduro in Venezuela, and they blew it. Now it's Cuba's turn!

Two women were walking through the supermarket when suddenly their carts collided. One of them said to the other: “Sorry, I didn't see you, I was distracted looking for my husband!” The other replied: “Ooooh! I was looking for mine too,” Then the first woman said: “Really? And what's he like?” The other said: “Ah! He's tall, dark-skinned, green eyes, wearing tight jeans that show off his strong legs. A white t-shirt that reveals his muscular arms and highlights his well-worked pecs. And yours?” The first replied: “Mine!? Let him get jealous! Let's go find yours!”
