The Iowa Caucus is behind us, Donald Trump was the big winner, as expected. Even after purchasing the endorsement of an Iowa evangelist , DeSantis could finish only a distant second. Trump had 51%, and won 98 of 99 counties. DeGov, won 0 counties and got 21%. To finish out the evening where no other candidate mattered, were the other two who didn’t. Haley won one county (Johnson) and got 19%, while Ramaswamy brought up the rear with 8%.

What Ron DeSantis did to distinguish himself yesterday in Iowa, was to throw a handicapped, wheelchair-bound man out of a rally in sub-zero weather because he was wearing the hat of a Trump supporter. OH, and the DeSantis tour bus was parked in the front, blocking all the handicapped parking. THIS IS WHAT HE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR, long after Trump becomes the nominee.

Kind of reminds me of that book-signing last year.

What is wrong with Ron DeSantis??? Remember in Feb.2023, when he had ten senior citizens thrown out of the parking lot of a shopping mall in Leesburg, as he signed his tome, “The Courage To Be Free”? Their crime, as with the handicapped man, was being there while showing support for another candidate. These people were wearing Trump shirts and caps, and had a few Trump signs. I know DeGov is “uncomfortable in unscripted situations” but, come on…

Ronald DeSparing has shot himself in the foot for the last time. His attempt at the brass ring of politics ended up with his grabbing the rusty iron one, and destroying whatever reputation he had in the process. Once a lot of Floridians liked the guy, but those days are pretty much gone.

Following the campaign trail of Ron DeSantis has been amusing AND affirming.

He is the flop he was destined to be. The problem is that, now, he has spent over $150 million to prove it to everybody. What was the Bush contingent thinking?? How angry are the donors, especially those who gave to his gubernatorial campaign? Speaking of donors, are his going to stay with him after such an abysmal performance?

He was a media darling in his staged pressers, and managed to fool a lot of people that way. BUT< >What on earth was he doing, running for President of the United States if he can’t face down a senior citizen wearing a cap from another candidate?? Did he think that the lead role in (what used to be) a superpower would follow some imaginary path where he would be comfortable and coddled at all times??

The Bushies apparently thought so, or else the Globalist gang thought he would be easily controlled, ala Biden today. Guarantee you, W and Jeb didn’t forsee this mess. They have been the propellant for the DeSantis balloon which sent it skyward, only to watch it crash to earth. Frankly, I could care less about the Bushes’ feelings. DeGov has reached the end of the 2024 POTUS primary race. He has shown us the end of the anticipated trajectory. Will he keep on wasting everybody’s time and money? Probably.

I’m sorry…in some ways the little guy is likeable , to the extent that he might be a great next-door neighbor - just not a leader of the free world. He still has a few fans, and most of them are uninformed Floridians or anti-Trumpers who cannot swallow Biden. Maybe he’ll move in next to one, after his Tallahassee days are over.

The people of his state had asked DeGov to come back and do his job - the full term that he’d promised to complete in 2022. You know, the one he lied about. He left his constituents with mandates to use unsecured voting machines without possibility of audits or parallel hand-counts. He also scammed them on their medical freedom bill, by protecting them from only Covid, which was to be cancelled shortly after the bill was signed. He left them with a contact tracing law, a Red Flag law, and a mess with homeowners’ insurance, not to mention skyrocketing property taxes, and crime.

Florida ranks seventh in the nation in child trafficking, just .06% behind California, in case you need to understand more about what he faces. DeBoy needs to come home and man up — if they still want him. There is talk of calling for his resignation along with those of his Secretary of State and Dir. of Elections, who are both guilty of very sub-standard security procedures for those mandated machines. (For which, of course, as CEO of the State, DeGov is responsible.)

Ron DeSantis wanted to be Governor. In 2018, Trump helped him to squeak by Gillam. In 2022, DeGov wanted more, and didn’t mind lying to his constituents to get it. In so doing, he bit the hands that had helped him win the Statehouse. Just stupid.

Frankly, I seriously doubt if any of the three, DeSantis, Byrd, or Matthews (a Bush appointee way back when Jeb was Governor) have the morals to accept the responsibility for their actions. Like all pols, they play a good game (mostly) but beneath the surface lies a different story - or stories. I would love it if just one of them would prove me wrong…

Well, Mr. D, it remains to be seen which of those qualities you have. Guess we just have to hope and pray for the best, but be prepared for the worst. Given what you’ve shown us so far, I know which way I’m thinking . . . .
