The campaign to elect Chris Gleason to the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections position got a boost today as Gleason was able to pay the over $10,000 fee and file the appropriate paperwork, despite attempts to stop him.

We are told Gleason's supporters had trouble sending funds through Zelle, and there were attempts to stop him from filing this morning at the county elections office.

The campaign put out the following:

Guess what? Chris Gleason is on the ballot for the big election on August 20th! And it’s all thanks to the amazing people in Pinellas County, like you! A whopping 93% of you said there should be absolutely no cheating in elections, and that helped make this happen!

With the help of groups like the Pinellas County Watchdogs and tons of voters who really care, we managed to do something really cool. Even though some people thought it couldn't be done, YOU got Chris Gleason on the ballot just by getting support from regular people like you!

Despite the fact that some troublemakers tried to mess things up, we still made it! And now, the election on August 20, 2024, is super important—it might just be the most important one in the whole country! Pinellas County sets the trend—how things go here can affect the whole country!

Great news! DeSantis-appointed Julie Marcus must go. Chris Gleason understands elections and advocates for fairness and transparency. Pinellas needs him.
