Doral, Florida - When progressives today say “democracy” or “our democracy,” what do they mean? They claim that the re-election of President Trump and his implementation of the conservative MAGA agenda would destroy our democracy. However, these are the same people who are undermining the democratic elements of our republic.
The United States government is not, and was not meant to be, a majoritarian democracy. At the end of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked what type of government it created. His response was: “A republic, if you can keep it!” He did not say a democracy, because the Founders expressly rejected that form of government. Instead, the Founders created a federal constitutional republic, with accountability to the people through periodic democratic elections, because all just government is based on the consent of the governed, and American government is of, by and for the people.
The American republic is composed of a mixed form of government, set forth in our Constitution and following the principles of the separation of powers into three equal branches: (1) The legislative branch makes the laws and is itself separated into: (A) a federal component, with the Senate initially representing the will of the States that joined to form the Union, and now directly elected; and (B) a popular component, with the House of Representatives representing the will of the people directly. (2) The executive branch, which grants all power to the President and charges him with the faithful execution of the laws, is based on a monarchy for a term of years. And (3) The judicial branch, interpreting the law based on the principles of Anglo-Saxon common law.
A fourth branch of our federal government, not authorized in the original Constitution, has developed over the last 100 years or so. This unconstitutional fourth branch is the administrative state of so-called elite and expert technocrats, with limited democratic accountability to the people. This innovation has been added unlawfully in accordance with the living Constitution championed by President Woodrow Wilson, 1913-21.
We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Rule of Law
In fact, progressives have been undermining our democracy for a while, especially by undermining the rule of law that makes our federal constitutional republic possible. This progressive assault started during the Wilson administration, and has accelerated recently since the election of President Trump in 2016. To them, overturning a legitimate presidential election was justified by any means necessary to regain power, such as:
The Russia collusion hoax, intended to de-legitimize the Trump administration from the start in 2016, was based on organized lying by the mainstream media and progressive operators. The New York Times and The Washington Post won Pulitzer prizes for their fraudulent reporting, but they have yet to return their prizes.
The response to the Wuhan flu virus starting in March 2020 was unreasonable and all out of proportion to the threat presented. In fact, the remedies taken - - such as shutting down all businesses and schools, taking unproven vaccines, and delaying other medical treatment - - were worse than the disease itself.
The two impeachments of President Trump were also mere politics, with no legal basis: (A) the first for inquiring into Crooked Joe Biden’s corruption in Ukraine with Burisma and others; and (B) the second for Trump’s participation in the Capitol riot of January 6, 2021, which was mostly a false-flag operation orchestrated by the FBI and the Speaker of the House.
The violent rioting, arson, looting and killing in the summer of 2020, following the death of George Floyd in police custody, resulted in around $2 billion in property damage, around three dozen deaths, and injuries to around 1,500 police officers. A federal court house in Portland, Oregon, a police precinct station in Minneapolis, and a historic church across from the White House, were torched by these rioters. These riots were perpetrated by Antifa and Black Lives Matter, the current paramilitary wings of the Democrat party that have replaced the Ku Klux Klan, and were permitted and abetted by progressive governors and mayors. Senator Harris at that time organized bail for these violent rioters, and did not urge them to protest “peacefully and patriotically.”
The presidential election of 2020 was stolen under the cover of Covid. In particular, Vote-By-Mail was expanded, and it requires no voter ID and has no chain-of-custody. The disinformation campaign to cover up the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop during the final days of the election season, coordinated by the mainstream media, social media operated by Big Tech, and the administrative state, represents another example of progressives lying in order to win elections.
Democratic elections hold elites accountable, so we should not be surprised that progressives rebel against such accountability, especially when conducted in accordance with the rule of law.
Killing Democracy in Order to Save it
The Obama-Biden 3.0 administration since 2021, in particular, has been destroying the rule of law in order to prevent its main political opponent from winning a democratic presidential election:
The various prosecutions brought by Democrats against Trump starting in 2023 are all politically motivated and wrongly conceived examples of prosecutorial misconduct: (A) the federal case in the District of Columbia based on the Capitol riot of January 6, 2021; (B) the federal case in South Florida based on Trump’s handling of classified documents; (C) the case brought by the Manhattan District Attorney based on alleged falsification of business records in violation of campaign finance laws; and (D) the case brought by the Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney alleging racketeer-influenced and corrupt-organization activities.
In addition, the civil cases against Trump have no legal basis: (A) the alleged sexual assault at the Bergdorf Goodman store in New York; and (B) the attempt by the New York Attorney General to prevent Trump from doing business there based on alleged overvaluation of real estate collateral for bank loans. Apparently all these cases have been coordinated with the White House.
Disqualification of Trump from the ballot has been wrongfully decreed by: (A) the Supreme Court of Colorado, on the motion of the unelected Secretary of State, among others; and (B) the also unelected Secretary of State of Maine, without any due process or hearing. America’s southwest border is wide open and not secure, letting in illegal aliens with no respect for the rule of law, neither by them nor by the federal government. We will likely face terrorist attacks from these unvetted illegal aliens.
Climate change ideology is a Marxist hoax, expanding the power of the administrative state over individual citizens, and benefitting mostly crony capitalists in unsustainable businesses. Hertz car rental just disposed of 20,000 electric vehicles, constituting a third of its fleet.
Bidenomics is based on out-of-control spending and borrowing, which leads inexorably to inflation, debasement of our currency, and immiseration of our middle class.
Meanwhile, we have the Big Guy of the Biden Crime Family for President, subject to extortion by China, Ukraine and others, and manipulation by Barack Obama.
Despite the ruling of the United States Supreme Court, this administration continues to cancel student debt, in order to buy the votes of those with college credentials.
Since the Jihadist attack by Hamas on Israel on Saturday, October 7, 2023, America has seen an outburst of pro-Hamas violent assaults, with no effective response from this administration. They have occupied the Capitol rotunda in the manner of a true insurrection, stormed the California legislature, defaced federal monuments and cemeteries, shut down bridges and highways, attacked police officers, and attempted to shut down Grand Central Terminal and the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in New York.
All these anti-democratic violations of the rule of law by this administration have only strengthened the re-election campaign of former President Trump. Trump now stands, warts and all, as the symbol of liberty under the rule of law, against the totalitarian socialist tyranny of the administrative state, the woke progressive mob and the Biden Crime Family. As Abraham Lincoln observed in his campaign speech during 1860 at Cooper Union in New York, Democrats will “rule or ruin.” If they cannot rule our government, then they will ruin our republic.
The German Democratic Republic—GDR
Instead of promoting democratic elections within the framework of our federal constitutional republic, progressives are promoting lawlessness and totalitarian socialist tyranny by the administrative state. That was the form of government in East Germany during the Cold War, from 1949 when it was imposed on the German people, without any consent of the governed, by the Soviet Union, to 1990 when the Soviets had lost their will to rule their European empire, and the German people had torn down the Berlin Wall.
That government must be what progressives mean when they say: “democracy” and “our democracy”!!! For example, progressives continue to honor Angela Davis, a domestic terrorist and tenured professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, who received awards from the GDR and expressed regret over the fall of the Berlin Wall. Most elements of the GDR could be traced back to the German National Socialist police state of 1933-45, and many of those elements are being repeated today in America. For example:
Barack Obama is the American Johan Tetzel. Friar Tetzel sold indulgences for the forgiveness of sin, causing Martin Luther in 1517 to object and start the Protestant Reformation. Barack Obama offered redemption from the original sin of Americans - - racism - - if you voted for him and otherwise supported his candidacy. Both Tetzel and Obama were charlatans, but the first helped raise the money to build St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, and the second won presidential elections twice. Doctor Fauci is the American Mengele. Fauci engaged in unethical and unlawful medical research, tried to hide it and smeared those who disclosed it, and promoted remedies that were worse than the disease and had no scientific basis.
The FBI and CIA have become the American Gestapo and Stasi, collectively. They lied about the Hunter Biden laptop, orchestrated the Capitol riot on January 6, and pursue concerned parents as if they were domestic terrorists.
General Motors and Ford are the American Volkswagen, following the fanatical instructions of the regime. In the American case, excessive investments in electric vehicles will inevitably lead to another request for bailouts, which should be denied.
The mainstream media, social media operated by Big Tech, and the administrative state, collectively, constitute the American Goebbels. They promote the Big Lie, whatever it might be at any moment, and suppress and cancel any dissent.
Antifa and BLM are the American Brown Shirts. They provide the street violence necessary for a real insurrection against our republic.
The George Floyd riots were the American Kristallnacht. They constitute a warning to Americans that they better not resist the progressive revolution.
The Capitol riot on January 6 was the American Reichstag fire. This fire in the German legislative building was set in Berlin during 1933 by the national socialists (Nazi’s) so as to blame the international socialists (Communists) in a false-flag operation.
Ashli Babbit was the American Sophie Scholl. Both were wrongfully executed by foot soldiers of the progressive regime for opposing their oppression.

It rang truthfully with me as I have near connections with what happened in Germany during that time. The question is how can you connect with people who aren’t connected to this history so that they “get it”.
